Mark Hills Managing Director of WHL said "Whilst the UK boiler manufacturing industry is in the doldrums and facing financial difficulties, We are pleased to announce our continued programme of expansion and our new depot to be headed by Mark Walton and Malcolm Pitt (both ex Wellman Robey Hire Division) , Mark And Malcolm are time served Boiler Engineers a vast experience and qualifications to match, they will utilise their expertise to set-up expand the Watkins hire division in the Midlands."
As this is being read, a Multi Purpose Boiler Engineering Facility is being put in place in the West Midlands area incorporating modern Craneage and up to date equipment to manufacture and maintain TRAILERISED Steam and Hot Water boilers. An investment £2,000,000 has been allocated for steam and heating units for the new depot. the first three brand new 15000-lb/hr Trailerised plant rooms will be available in the next few weeks, these three units alone equate to an investment of 1/2 million pounds. These units will compliment the some 300 hundred Steam and Hot Water units currently in the WHL fleet which comprise Trailerised , Containerised and Bespoke Static Units to satisfy large Chemical Plants Power Stations, and Oil Refineries, food manufacturers, local and national government departments during Outage Periods.
Malcolm and Mark have worked as Colleagues for some Four Years running Wellmans hire fleet, both are pleased to join the Market Leader in the Steam and heating Boiler Hire Industry, and are looking forward with renewed enthusiasm to Watkins expansion plans.
Watkins Hires Midlands Division will enjoy the Backup of a Nationwide Service team, but will also have dedicated Multi- skilled Engineers as part of the WHL ongoing commitment to Quality and Customer Satisfaction.
