In 2010 Watkins Hire were contracted to supply cooling for the Commonwealth Games in Delhi. This was a huge logistical challenge that required pinpoint planning. Once the equipment arrived on site engineers installed all overhead ducting and Air Handlers into the temporary structures. Throughout the games Watkins Hire team were on-site to cover any breakdowns or issues that may have arisen. We cooled a diverse range of structures from transport hubs to dining halls using mainly overhead ducting installed on tension wire. Our team were on-site for a total of four months to ensure smooth deliverey and removal of the equipment following the games.
