Convectant drying has emerged in the last few years as an alternative to conventional drying techniques such as desiccant dehumidifiers and refrigerant dehumidifiers.
How does KwikHEAT heater hire equipment dry out your flooded building?
The KwikHEAT 100% fume free dry fresh air produced by our IDF heaters, dries structures faster than conventional drying methods such as refrigerant dehumidifiers and desiccant dehumidifiers.
KwikHEAT heaters introduce hot dry high pressure fresh air with extremely low relative humidity (below 2%) into the damp / water / flood damaged building. The fresh hot air raises the dew point in the building, allowing for rapid evaporation of moisture from the wet building surfaces and the building structure into the heated airflow. The positive air pressure inside the building created by the KwikHEAT heaters to generate rapid air movement / exchanges increases the rate of evaporation of the moisture contained with the flooded building fabric into the hot dry fresh air and extraction fans pull the moisture laden air out of the flood damaged building through small opening.
