When a major Hospital was planning to extend and upgrade its facilities, they and their main consultant and specialist Mechanical and Electrical contractor realised that they would need to provide a reliable long term temporary solution to meet the ongoing needs of the existing ward and hospitals hot water and heating needs.
The client had very exacting requirements and standards to ensure that this temporary Heating and Hot Water Boiler solution would meet and replicate exactly the Boiler Plant, that was being de-commissioned as part of the new build. Temperatures and flow rates would be critical as the Watkins Hire Temporary Hire Boiler would be the only means of heating and hot water until the new build was completed.
As per the above and below, Watkins offer a full turnkey package. In this case, to meet the stringent temp and flow requirements and also to monitor all key functions of the Boiler. This plant Room was fitted and commissioned with full GSM real time telemetry, giving all parties immediate notification and reporting capability. This project also involved a contract lift to position the large 1,200 Kwatt Plant Room/Packaged Boiler into position on the Hospital site. Full testing and the commissioning then followed with us working hand in hand with all on site parties.
