Watkins Hire has scored a major coup by recruiting Nick Campey from rival firm Andrews Sykes to head up the firm’s new National Accounts Division. Nick begins his new role as national accounts director at Watkins Hire on 1 December, marking a major milestone in the company’s continuing development as a key player in the Specialist HVAC hire sector. His remit is to establish the new division with consistent processes for handling larger, national clients and to build a National Accounts team, working closely with Watkins Hire’s existing sales and service teams.

Nick’s appointment follows the announcement in October that Terry Stevens-Smith had left his national accounts manager role at Andrews Sykes to take up a similar post at Watkins Hire. This established working partnership will now focus on increasing Watkins Hire’s national accounts and adding value to the company’s existing clients, focusing in particular on the public sector, facilities management, IT and telecoms industries.

Designed specifically for portable site drying with ease of handling and robustness, the Watkins Hire MCS300 desiccant dehumidifier hire model is designed to dry and efficiently dehumidify for long periods of operation. The design enables easy transport by one person to and within the spaces to be dehumidified.

Our rental dehumidifier comes with an advanced control panel for easy and user friendly control. An energy consumption monitor that can be reset makes it possible to measure the consumption (kWh) during a specific hire period.

Watkins Hire Oil filled radiator heaters have oil sealed inside the radiator, they are powered electrically. The oil inside is warmed by the heating elements and raises the temperature of the metal heat fins of the radiator itself. They are great because while the oil inside gets very hot, the radiator itself does not become a fire hazard.

Oil filled radiators do not release dangerous gasses into the heated area . The KwikHEAT oil filled radiators are small heating units the cost to run them is considerably less than central heating as we only warm one room at a time.
